Tone Death: A Ghost Musical

“What advice do the dead have for the living?”

Half-way through their set, a comedian dies on-stage, adding them to the ranks of a small group of ghosts who live in the theatre. Inspired to go about their post-mortem days scaring patrons and forming a musical troupe, the arrival of the comedian brings tensions boiling to the surface between the ghouls and sees the return of an old enemy that they would much rather forget. Tone Death was my second indie project with Marshall and Marrows, creating these rag tag team of ghostly characters was a fun experience. My favourite detail tho was concocting a custom mix of paint and various other ingredients to create beautifully gross dried bird shit to adorn the costume of a ghost stuck in a bird-filled building. Oh and the gothic tooth fairy complete with Maleficent-style horns.
